new office for me, Fuqua Stable in Breck Arts District!

Just a little heads up for all my endearing fans. I’m the new Resident Artist at the Fuqua Livery Stable, part of the Breckenridge Arts District. My role has many aspects to it. I will have open office hours, where people can come and ask questions, or just see what I’m up to. I will be teaching (at least) one free workshop per month, on some aspect of photography, maybe camera technical stuff, maybe composition theory, maybe how to create a blog. I’ll also have an open gallery for the town’s 2nd Saturday Art Walk. This is a really cool thing that needs to be exposed and known about. Modeled after the 1st Friday Art Walks in lots of big cities, the 2nd Saturday is a chance to have a concentrated effort to expose the galleries in town, and art in general. Find the Town of Breck’s site here.

I plan on creating a pretty full schedule of workshops and events. I really think the Breck Arts District can be something very big, but we need your help. Let me know what you would like to see, what kind of workshops you would be interested in attending. It would really help me to start getting feedback.

Some shot’s with my iPhone of the space I’m in. Come by and say Hi. I’m a half block off Main St. right across from two of my favorite places, Cuppa Joe Cafe, and the Hearthstone Restaurant
