Made the drive over to Granby Ranch, which used to be called Sol Vista, for the 2012 edition of the Triple Dip. While this year's didn't have the same cash purse, and therefore the same number of competitors, it was still a killer race, on some killer trails. Granby Ranch really has some awesome trails in place, with some great beginner ones. I should know, because I took my first ever downhill run, on a downhill bike, this past Sunday. It was a blast! I loved it.
I shot only on Sunday, there were two races on Saturday, so three races, hence the Triple Dip name. I'm really trying to force myself to shoot races in different ways, and with as many different shots as I can get. Different angles, from different locations. Instead of finding one shot, and getting everyone from that angle. I'm trying to do a complete coverage of the event, to tell the story of that event.
I hope you enjoy and let me know if you see either yourself or someone you know. You can also find a much larger gallery, and purchase prints (they're pretty inexpensive, and helps me to do more of this event coverage) over on my Smug Mug page, which can be found by clicking Daniel Dunn Photo Smug Mug You'll have to look through the pics to find yourself, the race promoters and myself aren't that sophisticated yet that you can just look up a name or number.
I also have a Facebook page, I would appreciate you giving me a like, it helps Google and other folks find me, and again, I can then do this more often, therby providing you and your friends and family with some really awesome photos. You can find my Facebook page a number of ways, but a direct link is here. Daniel Dunn Photo Facebook.
